Well done to everyone for working their way through a trial period on getting a strategy to kill alar in Tempest keep. After a couple of trials we have figured out that we dont need as many tanks as expected and we can burn him down phase 2 more successfully. Gratz to Erl, Monimera and Taeron on new loot and lets keep smashing these bosses !!

With nothing to do on a sunday night the Southern Stars went on a field trip to Mount Hyjal.
Well it wasnt quite like that as all our members read and researched the first fight in MH and took on the boss Rage Winterchill. PVP trinkets in hand and strat figured out we gave it a go and took her down to a mere 1% with only seconds being the factor of her death. VERY well done as a first ever attempt.
Second attempt was made alot easier by some mere adjustments to the first strat and she was dead.
Congratulations to All the members of Southern Stars for a Job Well Done - Research boss 2 and off we go again next sunday night.

Although i was not there we had a successful 10 people knock off and complete Zul'Aman on the weekend. This means we now know and have learnt the hard way (18g + 25g +13g . . . carry the 2 ) how to complete all the bosses in the most successful way so look at the new raid times coming for organisation of 2 groups heading into ZA every week to get the very juicy loot.

Ok i know it and im sure most of you know it but this website probably isnt as active as it should be. So i have made some changes to security on forums (cause of things making themselves public on wow forums) and i will also speak to Stargun about delegation of other news reporters and website admins for the page. This means you are not only relying on me to update. As you all know i do have a busy week schedule but i love it both my sport and enjoying Wow time with you all.

The bigger they are . . . the harder they fall.
This is the case with Morogrim as we now succesfully chopped his toes off for the second week in a row. Having our smart players we can now successfully down the first 3 bosses in SSC on one of our raid nights leaving plenty of room for attempts at new bosses and still the quick badge runs. Looks like this guy has burst his last bubble for us and will be downed regularly.

Well some of our well geared people in the guild have attacked Zul A'man hard this week. With the timed run getting 2 bread baskets and downing 2 new bosses. The 3rd Boss was downed on Sunday night and Hex lord malacrass downing on monday night with a nice head piece drop (Thanks guys). Onto the last boss and 2nd try was 30% so we are on our way to clearing ZA.

After a vote we all decided to head to magtheridon's lair last sunday night. The result was successfully downing him in our 4th guy and then move on and take down his mate gruul afterwards. Some nice gear dropped and grats to the winners of thier T4 chestpieces. This will be a weekly thing on a sunday so come on and help us kill him every week.

Although i was not there, the Southern Stars has downed hydross in Serpentshrine Cavern. This adds another raid boss to the kills we are accumulating at a very fast rate.  Keep it up guys - Black Temple here we come !!
